electronicsIf you have been waiting for the latest iPhone or the iPad 3 with Retina Display to buy at a low price, now is your moment. Walmart has started to offer the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 with a generous discount.

The 16GB iPhone 5 is now available for $127, down from the usual $199. If you want a 16GB iPhone 4S, which is usually $89,97 at Walmart, you can buy it with just $47. Both versions of the smartphones will require a 2-year cellular contract with either AT&T, Sprint or Verizon.

If you have been waiting for a good price on tablets, Walmart gives you the 16 GB iPad 3 with Retina Display at $399 (the same price that Apple offers for iPad 2). Plus, starting with Dec. 17 this iPad will come with a $30 iTunes card from Walmart.  Unfortunately, there are no discounts on the iPad 4.

According to PCMag.com’s Sascha Segan:

“The results are stunning. The fourth-gen iPad outmatched all other Apple products on the Geekbench and GLBenchmark benchmarks, scoring 1,768 on Geekbench to the iPad 3’s 749. Similarly, the heavy game ‘Need for Speed: Most Wanted’ launched in 18 seconds on the new iPad as compared to 37 seconds on the iPad 3. Yes, it’s more than twice as fast. With the iPad 3, I found apps that stressed the older A5 processor. That just isn’t the case any more.”

So, what are you waiting? If you want to buy a cool gadget for Christmas, this is the moment.
