Jimmy Fallon is really for the holiday spirit these days. On Tuesday he teamed up with Mariah Carey and the Roots on an instrumental version of her popular song “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
Earlier this month, “30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan was a guest on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show for an interesting and fun reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. While Jimmy tries to keep a straight face, Tracy said some bizarre things that aren’t in the beloved children’s book. Tracy provides his own footnotes, like how he’s familiar with a pimp named Sugarplum.
After Fallon read the opening couplet, Morgan had this to say: “I hate that mouse. Always hear him walkin’ around with his little nails scratching against my kitchen floor. I got brand new floors Jim. From France!”
Morgan was also irritated by St. Nick’s tardiness. “When’s that dude going to show up? I’ve been waiting all night for him. He’s late.”
“Sugar plums? You definitely don’t got kids. I got three kids. They want a Wii U, X Box, ‘Call of Duty.’ Not one of them asks for me for those sugar plums. By the way, I know a pimp named Sugar Plum,” Morgan mused.
But wait, there’s even more! Claiming the reason to be “career suicide,” Tracy Morgan decided to cover ‘All This Love’ by American R&B/Pop singer El DeBarge’s.
