It started. The Coachella 2013 tickets are available starting January 29 at 10 a.m. PST on the Coachella website. If you want to attend the California Music Festival you must hurry because the tickets are being sold fast.
Also be careful, the Coachella festival’s ticket agency Front Gate would log customers out or fail to load the credit card info had been entered. One buyer encapsulated the issues: “In cart, payment info entered, submit.. and then it times out and I lose the tickets in the cart.”
Front Gate is owned jointly by AEG Live, of which Coachella promoter Goldenvoice is a subsidiary, and C3 Events, which is responsible for the Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza festivals.
This year’s artists are: The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Roses, British band Blur, Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Lumineers, Modest Mouse, Tegan & Sara, Wu-Tang Clan, Pretty Lights, Passion Pit, Of Monsters and Men, Vampire Weekend and La Roux, plus many others.
Other upper-tier artists include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Modest Mouse, a double-dose of Nick Cave (performing with Grinderman and the Bad Seeds), Yeasayer and Skrillex project Dog Blood.
