Airbnb service, launched in 2007, that allows you to book rooms all over the world reached four million users, after an incredible growth in 2012. In the last year the number of available rooms has doubled, from 120,000 to over 300,000.

2012 was a good year for the company, with eleven new offices opened and nine new markets released like Thailand, Rio and Indonesia.
Airbnb announced five million nights booked in January last year and a growth to ten million in June.
Now it is available in 22 new languages, with at least 32 languages available in total, a necessary feature since its users came from 150 countries. And since one million iOS applications were downloaded until September, the company has now reported 1.2 million downloads.
Posting as many pictures as they can with their houses is for hosts a way to successfully rent out their places, so there were more than 2,000 images published per day in last year, for a total of over 800,000.
The latest Airbnb feature is Airbnb Neighborhoods, a new tool that will help users to find the best areas in a series of major cities in the United States.
