The Western popular movie Django Unchained released on December 25th, remains in the top of the international box office, as No. 1. for the third consecutive weekend. From the 66 markets and 6,421 screens, in which the film can be watched, Django Unchained earned a total gross of $309.2 million, with $130 million, in United States alone. The movie generated $33.64 million in the first weekend of February, topping the Paramount Pictures’ Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters.
The movie is distributed internationally by Sony and featured a cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson.

For comparison, the top movies’ earnings from this weekend: Universal’s Les Miserables, with 8 Oscar nominations, genereted $14.2 million on the weekend, Summit and Lionsgate’s The Impossible, earned $8 million, Paramount’s Flight, the aviation drama generated $2.4 million overall this weekend, Lionsgate’s The Last Stand, the action movie featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, generated $3.6 million, Universal’s comedy Ted has a gross of $3.7 million, Paramount’s Jack Reacher starring Tom Cruise earned $4.3 million, Warner Bros.’ The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey generated $7.8 million, while Zero Dark Thirty, about the killing of Osama Bin Laden, earned $1.65 million, its biggest market being in France.
