BlackBerry is back. The new Z10 smartphone is bringing BlackBerry (formerly known as RIM) among the big mobile companies.
Z10 is a plastic and metal -made smartphone, measuring 5.1 x 2.6 x 0.4 inches and weighing 137.5g or 4.85 oz.
It is powered by a 1,800mAh battery, able to connect through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 2G, 3G and 4G.
Most important BlackBerry Z10 specs consist of a 4.2-inch touchscreen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a Adreno 225 GPU for the powerful graphics. The microSD card can upgrade the storage to 64GB.
BlackBerry Z10 features two cameras: a 2MP front camera and a rear 8MP primary camera with LED flash. On top we can find the Power/Lock button and a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack; volume (plus mute) and voice control buttons are placed on the right side, while the miniHDMI port and microUSB 2.0. port are on the left side.
The miniHDMI port lets you connect the BlackBerry Z10 directly to your computer or TV.
Z10 has a 1280x768p resolution and 356 pixels per inch density. This puts BlackBerry behind many Android OS-running smartphones like HTC Butterfly or SonyXperia Z.
For United States, the BlackBerry Z10’s release date is not confirmed yet, but Verizon announced a price of $199.99 with contract for the new smartphone.
If you live in United Kingdom, the BlackBerry Z10 is already available for sale with a price tag of £479 without contract and at £35 per month with contract.
