Samsung Galaxy S4 will be released on March 14th during a press event in New York City and the company is already teasing us with a promotional video called “Samsung Unpacked”. Samsung sent invitations to media companies with the following message “Be Ready 4 the Next Galaxy.”
The clip contains no information, specifications or image regarding the new smartphone and it features a boy named Jeremy Maxwell. His job is to take the Samsung Galaxy S4 and to keep it a secret until the big unveil. His face lights up when he unpacks the secret box.
At some point during the video a smartphone does appear, but it is too small to say which Samsung model it is (it is pretty obvious that it cannot be the actual Galaxy S4).
The video ends with a “to be continued” message, which surrounds the Samsung Galaxy S4 even in more mystery.
Although we do not have any confirmation about the Galaxy S4’s specifications, we know the rumors: Samsung Galaxy S4 will run of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, it will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera (1080p video capability), a 2-megapixel front camera and a 4.99-inch Full HD Super Amoled display with 1920×1080 resolution.
The smartphone will include an Exynos 5 8-core processor, and 2GB of RAM. Regarding the case, it will be made out of plastic, just like Galaxy S3.
