Two weeks ago, we exclusively reported the iPhone 5S release date as June 29th, according to an inside source from Apple. Now our story is backed up by many rumors that confirm a late June release of Apple’s iPhone 5S.
The latest information comes, today, from TechCrunch, who reports that a confidential catalog, with details regarding the charger and the possible cases of the iPhone 5S, has leaked to the public. This Shenzhen manufacturer is an important partner of Foxconn and the leaked catalog, because of a synchronization promise, seems to lead the release date of Apple’s smartphone to a late June unveil. The site also mentions that these kind of leaks are not usual from Apple’s manufacturers and this could suggest that the involved companies are just taking precaution measures, as the release date is approaching.
Recently, a Chinese website posted a series of leaked images showing a slimmer iPhone 5S and also predicted a June release.
Business Insider, citing Topeka Capital analyst Brian White, said that Apple will manufacture the iPhone in multiple colors sizes and mentioned late June as a possible release date. Another analyst, Gene Munster, thinks iPhone 5S will be launch at the same date.
This date is also supported by a DigiTimes report, who claims that Apple’s supply chain will distribute the components at the beginning of June, so the smartphone will be available on sale starting with June, 2013.
